Golf Courses in Courtenay
Courtenay is the largest community in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island's east coast, framed by the snow-capped peaks of the Beaufort Range and the Strait of Georgia. A laid-back hub of Pacific Northwest outdoor culture, it draws golfers with mild coastal weather that stretches the playing season from early spring through late fall. Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community
Crown Isle is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout designed by Canadian architect Graham Cooke, with the back nine opening in 1992 and the front nine following a year later. Stretching to roughly 7,025 yards from the tips, the course winds through an 871-acre residential community with generous landing areas, sculpted bunkering, and tree-lined corridors of Douglas fir. Its grand 40,000-square-foot clubhouse and signature 18th — a 423-yard closer guarded by bunkers off the tee and fronting an elevated green — make it one of Vancouver Island's most recognized resort destinations. Crown Isle was named PGA of BC Golf Facility of the Year in 2020.
Mulligans Golf Course
Mulligans is a 9-hole, par-30 executive-length course stretching about 1,790 yards, set in the rolling Comox Valley beneath views of the Comox Glacier and surrounding peaks. Billed as "The Friendliest Little Course in the Valley," it's a favourite for beginners, families, and quick after-work rounds, with a typical loop completed in around 90 minutes. The facility also features a full-size driving range 150 yards wide by 300 yards long with 20 stalls and five target greens.
