Billing and Subscription Information

When you subscribe to a paid plan (Eagle or Albatross), we store the following billing-related identifiers linked to your account:

• Stripe customer ID
• Subscription status, plan tier, and current billing period end date

Payment card data is collected and stored by Stripe directly. TeeClub does not receive or store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details.

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

• IP address and device information
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent on pages
• Referring website information
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Facilitate your tee time search and connect you with golf course booking systems
• Provide and bill paid subscription plans, including processing payments through Stripe
• Send phone-verification codes and (for Albatross subscribers) SMS tee time alerts
• Communicate with you about your account, subscription, and activity
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Improve our website and services
• Send you relevant offers and promotions (with your consent)
• Comply with legal obligations

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share information with the following categories of recipients:

Service Providers (Sub-Processors)

We rely on the following third-party service providers to operate the Service. Each acts as a sub-processor for the data described:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe collects and stores payment card details directly.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Amazon SNS — SMS delivery for phone verification codes and Albatross tee time alerts; backend infrastructure for data aggregation and scheduled jobs.
• Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and edge functions.
• Vercel — website hosting and Vercel Analytics.
• PostHog — product analytics and feature flags.
• Google Maps Platform — map and location features.

Other Sharing

• With golf courses or booking providers: when you choose to be redirected to complete a tee time booking.
• To comply with legal requirements: if required by law or a valid legal request.
• To protect rights and safety: of TeeClub, our users, or others.
• With your consent: in cases where you explicitly authorize sharing.

SMS Communications

If you provide and verify a phone number, we use it to send:

• One-time verification codes (transactional, required to confirm number ownership).
• Tee time alerts associated with your watchlists, available to Albatross subscribers.

We do not send marketing SMS. SMS messages are delivered through Amazon SNS. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.

You can stop SMS notifications at any time by removing your phone number from your profile page.

Data Retention

We retain your account, profile, and product-usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove or de-identify your personal information, subject to the following exceptions:

• Billing records: Records of subscription transactions are retained for the period required by Canadian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Legal holds: Information subject to legal preservation obligations is retained until those obligations expire.
• Aggregated/de-identified data: May be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve our Service. Specifically, we use:

• Authentication cookies set by Supabase Auth to maintain your session.
• Analytics cookies and identifiers set by PostHog and Vercel Analytics to understand product usage.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

TeeClub may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites and booking systems (including golf course booking platforms). If you choose to use these third-party services, your information will be governed by their privacy policies and practices, not ours.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

Subject to applicable Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA), you may have the right to:

Children's Privacy

TeeClub is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, please contact us to request deletion.
