Nanoose Bay is a small seaside community on the east coast of Vancouver Island, tucked between Nanaimo to the south and Parksville to the north along the sheltered waters of the Salish Sea. The area is best known for the Fairwinds resort community, where oceanfront homes, a marina, and golf sit alongside arbutus-studded bluffs and quiet coves. A mild Pacific coastal climate keeps winters gentle and summers temperate, giving golfers one of the longest playable seasons in Canada. For visitors, Nanoose Bay offers a laid-back island base within easy reach of ferry terminals, Parksville's beaches, and the broader Vancouver Island golf trail.
