Goose Hummock is a public championship 18-hole course designed by Oregon architect Bill Robinson, opened in 1989 and routed through natural forest northeast of Edmonton near Gibbons. Playing to par 71 at roughly 6,523 yards from the tips, the layout pairs Scottish-links framing with Everglades-style water features — ponds come into play on 15 of the 18 holes. The resort includes a full-service clubhouse with patio views and an adjacent RV park, which makes it a natural weekend destination for Edmonton-area players. The combination of mature trees, abundant water, and strategic design has kept it on regional "best of" lists for decades.
