Bon Accord
Spring Creek is an executive 18-hole par-57 course built in 1993, tucked into rolling farmland about 20 minutes north of Edmonton near Bon Accord. The layout stretches across roughly 55 acres of hills and creek-cut valleys, with holes ranging from 72 to 236 yards and a total yardage of about 2,661. A lighted driving range and the short but varied par-3 routing make it a popular stop for quick after-work rounds, beginners building confidence, and skills practice. The unpretentious country setting and friendly service keep regulars coming back season after season.

Devon
Devon Golf & Conference Centre first opened in 1954 as a nine-hole track built for oil workers tied to the historic Leduc No. 1 discovery, and was expanded to a full 18 in 1970. The par-70 championship layout, widely credited to Stanley Thompson design influence, is routed through the North Saskatchewan River valley with narrow, tree-lined fairways and fast, undulating greens that reward accuracy over raw distance. From the white tees it plays just under 5,600 yards, but the elevation changes and mature forest canopy make every hole feel longer than the scorecard suggests. An adjoining conference centre and the nearby University of Alberta Botanic Garden round out one of the more scenic golf destinations within a half-hour of Edmonton.
